How do I uninstall PC Protect?

Windows Vista, 7, 8 & 10

  • Click the Windows icon, typically in the bottom left of the screen

  • Type Uninstall a Program in the search box

  • Click the result that displays labelled Programs and Features or Uninstall a Program

  • Windows then lists all programs that are installed. Select PC Protect by clicking on it

  • Click Uninstall/Change at the top of the programs list

  • Click Yes in the dialogue box to confirm uninstall of PC Protect

  • Windows now starts the uninstall process. After completion, a status message will display, confirm by selecting OK.

MacOS

  • Open Finder

  • Click Applications in the left side column

  • Locate the PC Protect application

  • Click and drag PC Protect to the Trash

 

Windows XP

  • On the Start menu, click Settings > Control Panel

  • In the Control Panel window click on Add or Remove Programs

  • In the Add or Remove Programs window locate and select the PC Protect listing by clicking on it, then click Change/Remove

  • Click Yes in the dialogue box to confirm uninstall of PC Protect

  • Windows now starts the uninstall process. After completion, a status message will display, confirm by selecting OK.

 

If you have been told by the Tech Support Team to uninstall and reinstall the PC Protect app to overcome a problem, download from here and restart your device before installing.
